Sacred Center of healing & Ministering

For over 20 plus years, I’ve been suffering from chronic pain and other illnesses, yet the LORD has sustained me. It was very challenging navigating through the healthcare system/community, without the help and guidance needed to feel supported. There were times when the communication between me and my Healthcare providers was not easy to understand. It was scary speaking up for myself and my health. As I experienced not being heard, language that’s going over my head, and leaving doctor’s offices with question’s unanswered. Just as bewildered as I was when I came. I went undiagnosed with chronic pain for many years yet with God’s grace and perseverance I got the correct diagnosis. It was a very vulnerable and exhausting situation.

For someone who has experienced feelings of intimidation, neglect, embarrassment and led to believe it’s was all in my head. I realized I had to become my own health and wellness advocate. Through prayer, the LORD gave me the strength, confidence, courage, humility, peace, and ability to prepare for advocacy. In order to communicate and understand the most effective way of diagnoses and treatment plan for my health and wellness needs. This is why I/we decided to form a non-profit in 2019. Scared Center of Healing Inc… We know how overwhelming, stressful, and frustrating it can be for us to navigate through the healthcare system with ease.

We want to help our senior community as they are being affected by being left behind. Although seniors are our focus we want to invite all who are in need of any of the services that we provide. We want to be a place where your whole health and wellness is the goal. Through prayer, education, and support we hope to help bring some peace to the storm! PS The good news is I have been blessed, with a great team of doctors, prayer partners, and family/love ones.

Our Mission

Scared Center of Healing & Ministering, is a non-profit organization that provides spiritual, mental, and emotional wellness to our community. We plan to meet our community where they are by giving them a place of refuge. Where they can come for hope, love, food services, and wellness education. We would like to provide a non-judgmental environment, so if someone is in need of prayer, food, spiritual, emotional, and mental support we are here for them. If we cannot provide what is needed we will have a support system in place, such as referrals. We just want to be the place of hope where there is a need.
